I fell in love with poodles when I was searching for a service dog to meet my health needs. It was extremely hard to find well-bred dogs with solid temperaments that would be able handle the job.

After a long search and several failed prospect attempts-Merlin entered my life as an 8-week-old pup. He is now a fully trained service dog who almost never leaves my side.

My journey with Merlin and the independence I now have because of him is why I started my breeding program.

I created a program with purpose-bred dogs that have the highest standards in genetic/health testing, wonderful temperaments, and most importantly want to please their humans and learn along the way.

Steinrock’s Standard Poodles are intelligent, loving, affectionate, and thrive in service dog, therapy dog, and pet dog homes.

I work extremely hard to match the right puppy to the right family based on their needs and I don’t make placement decisions until after temperament testing when puppies are 7 1/2 weeks old.

I utilize 11 years of dog training experience to make sure my puppies have the right homes and are happy and healthy.

I stand behind my puppies for a lifetime and love to watch them grow and thrive in their new homes.
